Born in Ιoannina. Studied in Athens (National Theatre drama school, Law school) and New York( MA in Theatre and Film, Hunter college, Musical studies)
She has directed among others, plays of Aeschylus (The Persians, Agamemnon), Sofocles (Antigone), Euripides (Trojan women, Medea), Shakespeare, Moliere, Goldoni, Goethe, Arthour Miller, Kolyada, Tennesee Williams, Harold Pinter, Ingmar Bergmann, Zuskind, Wells.
Her major works on Medea and Antigone for the National Theatre of Greece went on a world wide international tour(Cyprus, Turkey, Israel, Bulgaria, Australia, U.S.A., Canada, Brazil, China, Japan, France,Germany).
Αs well she has directed operas, such as Mozart’ s Le Nozzedi Figaro and La FindaGiardiniera, and Hendel’ s Arianna in Creta.
She has collaborated with the Arts school of Ioannina university and worked as a drama and directing teacher for various drama schools, seminars, workshops in Athens, Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Zagorohoria, Gand (Belgium).

Director of the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Ioannina since 1996. Director of communications and public affairs of the same center (1992-1996).
She studied classics and Philosophy at the University of Athens and at the University of Provence (Msc, DEA, Doctorate). She taught Modern Greek as a Foreign Language at the University of Provence in France, at the Center for Translation and Interpreting in Corfu, at the EEC Institutions in Luxembourg and at the University of Ioannina. She taught French and translation at the Athens French Institute ( Ioannina). She worked as translator at the European Parliament. Ex - President of Ioannina YWKA and of Ioannina Selloi Lions Club.My vision for the city of Ioannina in the context of its candidacy as Capital of Culture is for it to raise its self-awareness and confidence; for it to rediscover the threads that connect it to Europe and the countries of the Mediterranean basin, and to transform them into unbreakable bonds through common, long-term actions in the fields of culture and sports.”Source:
