European Culture Conference

The European Studies Institute of the University of Piura (Peru) and Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca (Romania) invite you to the 13th Conference «European Culture», which will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania between the 29th and the 31th of October 2015, at the Faculty of European Studies (Babeş-Bolyai University). 

 

The International Conference “European Culture” does not have a unique theme, since it is chiefly defined by its broad range of topics, which enable various disciplines to come together.

Thematic sections

·         Culture theory, cultural identity

·         Multiculturalism / interculturality / migrations / encounters between cultures

·         Contemporary women’s culture

·         European identity / the idea of Europe

·         Europe: culture, economics and law

·         Communication

·         Education

Publishing Opportunities

The dialogue between academics, experienced lecturers and young researchers lies at the core of the Conference structure. Therefore, in line with the previous editions of the Conference, you are invited to enrich its contents with your paper, which will be included in the Modelling New Europe Journal (indexed in EBSCO, ProQuest, CEEOL, DOAJ, Scipio, DRJI, Index Copernicus, Ulrich) and in the online Conference Proceedings.

 

The Conference fee is €150, including Conference materials and Publication, lunch and dinner (for conference days, according to the official programme), coffee breaks and the Cultural Programme (except the cultural trip to Alba-Iulia, which costs an additional €35).

Early Bird Fee: For Payments made before the 31st of January 2015, the participation fee will be of €75.
