She was very critical in her presentation of the kind of narratives cities would develop once they have received the designation of the title.

Her main question was if a city is not located in the desert? And then she went on in her presentation to develop her thesis around four basic premises:

  1. Palimpset
  2. Absurd: inconous, unreasonable, ridiculous, silly
  3. Paradox: an apparently unacceptable conclusion derived from apparently acceptable premises
  4. Oxymoron
